Frankly, I was disappointed that he hauled out that over-used chestnut. Surely he could have come up with something both more creative AND more offensive?

    Daniel C. Dennett: Freedom Evolves
    Reading Dennett always requires extraordinarily close attention but usually I see his point and largely agree.  But with this book so far, I'm not sold.  Perhaps I'm not following his argument.  (Definitely so on some points.)  I'll have to read this twice to be sure.
